Questions, answered.
What Tipsy Juniper is, how it works, and what happens to your data.
What is Tipsy Juniper?
Tipsy Juniper is a friendly guide to drinks and the food that goes with them. Tell it what you are eating, craving or celebrating, and it suggests drinks that match, with a short reason for each. There is also a pairing quiz, a drink of the day and a Journal of articles on wines, spirits, cocktails and liqueurs.
How does it work?
You type or speak a question in any language, such as a dish, a mood or an occasion. Our AI guide reads it, thinks about flavors like acidity, sweetness, bitterness and weight, and suggests two or three drinks, each with a plain-words reason it suits you. No account and nothing to install.
Is it free?
Yes. You get a few free questions every day. The quiz, the Journal and the drink of the day are always free.
Can the guide be wrong?
It can. It is an AI, so treat its answers as friendly ideas and check important details yourself, such as ingredients, allergies and what is available where you live. We ask it never to quote prices or claim a bottle is rare or valuable.
Is the site for adults only, and what about non-alcoholic drinks?
The site talks about alcohol and is for adults of legal drinking age. The guide also suggests zero-proof options whenever they fit, and you can ask for non-alcoholic drinks only. Please never drink and drive.
Can I ask in my own language?
Yes. The guide answers in the language you write in. The website pages themselves are in English for now, and more languages are planned.
What happens to my questions and my email, and do you sell drinks?
We do not store your chat messages on our own servers. Your question is processed by an AI provider only to create the answer. If you give your email, we use it only to send what you asked for, and you can unsubscribe any time. We do not sell drinks, and right now there are no affiliate links. If we add them, they will be clearly marked and will never change what we recommend. See our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.
